Can't believe that after years of struggling as a writer I actually have two books coming out soon! Book number 5 is "Cincinnati Theaters" from Arcadia. I wrote this with my good friend the photographer Doug Weise and an old acquaintance, Phil Lind, who is quite the historian. In May I have a number 6, the book I have been researching and working on for years: "The Cincinnati Courthouse Riot". This one is being released by Pelican, a very prestigious publisher. Wild times here! My fourth book, "Cincinnati Under Water: the 1937 Flood," is finally released. This weekend I will be at the prestigious Books by the Banks  event at the Convention Center. Amidst all of this excitement, my son Jordan has gone on yet another overseas adventures. Now he is volunteering in, of all places, Morocco. At least things are not boring!

The book is finally out! "Art Deco Cincinnati" has hit the shelves, and my co-author Mr. Weise and I have done our first book signing. We even have a website to promote it: http://www.cincinnati-art-deco.com/. I should say that (once again) the publisher screwed up my big joke. While showing a photo of the famous Flying Saucer house in Kentucky, my caption was to read: "Their old Kentucky home is the Jupiter 2". Well... they removed 'old', thus killing the Stephen foster reference, and then in parenthesis explained that the Jupiter 2 was from Lost in Space. Jokes are real funny when you explain them!
